Hi Scott, I believe that the Solicitor's Office has completed their analysis of the NIGC decision on Ponca. I think the ball is back with NIGC or will be shortly.
The Secretary followed up your conversation with a note to me. He is currently out of the office, so I haven't closed the loop with him yet. I hope to do so on Monday.

Jim -
Just checking back on this, given that we thought we would have a decision by the end of September. I had dinner with Sec. Zinke last week and mentioned it to him, as well. The Ponca chairman is coming back to DC next week on other business and we'd love to be able to share some good news re: the DoI concurrence with him, or request another visit to come and discuss further. Thanks again for your consideration.
Thanks, Scott
