Associations The toad Industries Association is represented by one of its staff on the national Technical Task Zucclttee on Industrial 'Tastes and is delegated in this capacity to represent the interests of the lead wining, easelting, refining and fabricating ind-ntrles.- The Rational Technical Task Casnittee on Industrial Pastas was forced under the auspices of the Public Health Service of the Federal Security Agency and Includes representatives of twenty-two of the nation's leading industries. The prelininary functions of the Task Cooclttee arst (1) To asscobls a source list of existing processes sad practices employed in using, treating and controlling industrial wastes. (2) To aasecble a tabulation of research projects concerned with utilisation, treataent and disposal of wastes those underway and those contmplated. (3) To provide s list which will define problems that confront a given industrial group and for which there is no satis factory solution, particularly those which are eocnon to ore than one Industry. There are many water pollution and industrial waste probleas that are Cocoon to unrelated industries and It is obvious that by sutual coopera tion through an agency such as the Task Coonlttee, all of Industry can stand to benefit. If your cowpajy, as a ns&cr of the lead Indistrias Association, is currently fcced with an Industrial waste problea or, if having bean faced with such a probleo you have successfully solved it, you nay wish to fill in the enclosed forn and return it to the Association so that it may ba mads availsbit to ths Task Coonlttee at its next neeting in October.
