AR226-3053 Local Lymph Node Assay Screen with H21953 The Local Lymph Node Assay (ULNA) screen with H21953 in female-CriA/lHsd mice. Experimental details of the study are loc as conducted laboratory The test substance was prepared in dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) and administered topically to the dorsum of both ears of mice (6 per group) at dosages of 0% (DMSO vehicle). 1%, 10%. 25%. 50%, and 100%. An additional group of 6 female mice was dosed with 25% hexylcinnamaldehyde (HCA) as a positive control. No statistically significant differences in the mean body weights or mean body weight gains were observed at any concentration. All cell proliferation measurements at all concentrations of the test substance produced no statistically significant differences. In addition, all stimulation indexes were less than 3.0 and no do ,e response was present. Under the conditions of this study, H21953 was not a sensitizer. It was also concluded that a 25% concentration of HCA produced a positive sensitization response in mice.
