This change had occurred approximately 2 years ago but without "widespread knowledge". He offered the opinion that the irritation probably occurred from a combination of the free alcohol and high active content. He then proceeded to tell me that we should be looking for Novel product applications where APE's are currently being used, specifically floor strippers and cleaners.
