The technical information you have requested about the exact nature of the materials comprising this product ii considered to be pro prietary information by Spring Division. Generally, we can say that the friction plates that we supply you are made up of specialty paper facings containing .a..ahenolic resin which are bonded with a phenolic giWe~T:o.a cold rolled steel core. The solvents used for the resin 'antTgiue areT~5D'pIetely removed from the final product in our manu facturing processes. We would like to assure you that Spring Division has been manufacturing tills product for over twenty (20) years and we've experienced no difficulty with the final product regarding flre/personnel safety and EPA/OSEA regulations. Periodi cally we do industrial hygiene audits of our own manufacturing facility and we can tell you that these audits have not shown any potential problems with the product as you receive it.
