February l'th (Sunday) Three of us, you, Dennis Stubbs, 'hem T borrowed from Dustex, and I made tests on the Wheelabrator s.ys rerr. to see if it had capacity enough to add the system designed ror the oag packing mac hi ne. Ac. i urner had authorized doing this,
you will recall.
February 10th (Saturday) I wrote you a two-page letter which T presume you forwarded a copy to Georgia-Pacific. If you dj.i not in this, will you now send one to both. George Turner and Bill camme-'' so their ::les will be complete. In this letter, as you i;nowf I indicated the exhauster was running at full capacity, leaving nvae ri ca3 1 y no margin //pax ever for addinw anything to this
svst-'ill.
February 10th. On the second oap,e of this letter there were some jommo.fs about the nag slitter hood. These are now covered 1 ur * her in later corr> npondence.
February 11th(Thursday) This letter refers to authority from George Turned to proceed with the design of a bag slitter hood to replace one which I had said was very Door. I sent a copy of this let tei to George Turner by AIR RAIL to keep him abreast c..
further bevelonments.
February 17th. Dennis Stubbs and I went to Akron on Saturday, the 17th, to investigate how much air was available for the bag slitting operation.
February 20th. I -wrote you on this day to describe what had taken olae j the previous Saturday. V/ith this letter I e `.closed two sepias of a Slitter Hood, Dwg. No. 7306-1 dated Feb. 18. This letter was sor.~ to .Mr. 1'urner and Rill Hammer. V/ith Bill's etter was a print of the hood withg^suggestion that he see if the . .kron Plant could "live" with this hood design. I had misgivings, but it ecune within the capacity of the system by stretching things a little. I nc> e ::lso that George Turner was given a print of this
&7A7 drawing. It may not have oeen understood at Area Code (716) 822-4242 the time tnax this design was conditional upon
nkron Plant approval.
