During the shut down, the period from July 1st, 1942 to September 30th, 1942, preparations were made to convert the White Lead oell room to a Betts Refining unit. The actual conversion took: place between December 23rd, 1942 to December 31at, 1942, and the first Betts Lead was deposited on January 2nd, 1943,
