SAMPLING PROCEDURE WITH. POSACON PISTON-INJECTOR SAMPLING VALVE AND BOMB y 1> Make sure sample point and sample bomb piston are in the closed position (turned completely clockwise). 2> Remove cap from sample bomb and plug from sample point. 3> Screw sample bomb into the sample point until it bottoms against the teflon gasket. 4> Open process line to sample point, then open sample point valve three (3) times. 5> Flush sample point briefly. 6> Open sample bomb piston by turning handle counterclockwise three (3) turns. 7> Pull back piston handle completely then push back in completely to flush bomb. Pull back completely one more time to draw sample. 3> Close the piston-injector by turning the handle completely clockwise. 9> Close process line to sample point. Close sample point valve by turning completely clockwise. 10> Unscrew sample bomb from sample point. 11> Secure cap and plug on sample bomb and sample point. 12> Inject sample into sample container under laboratory hood. 13> Excess sample can be injected back into process in step number 7 above.
