C. 20210 Dear Mr. Secretary: On behalf of the Asbestos Information Association/North America, a non-profit, incorporated organization of as bestos mining, milling and product manufacturing companies, we respectfully request an extension of 120 days commencing December 8, 1975, to submit comments on the proposed re vision of the Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration standard for Occupational Exposure to Asbestos (29 CFR Part 1910.1001, Docket No. H-033) as published in the Federal Register, October 9,- 1975. The referenced document notes comments on the proposed standard are invited on or before December 8, 1975. This Association intends to comment, however, it is our studied opinion that time is insufficient before December 8, 1975, to thoroughly review and comment on new medical evidence and associated data referenced in the document and to completely comment on feasibility aspects of'the proposed standard re vision. Indeed, as of this writing, the Association has not been able to obtain some of the material referenced in the document.
