Dear Nr. vaberi
I have 6aan taxed to forward, information relative to the toxiolty of Pydraul P-9 and Pydraul A-800,
There la aneloaad data entitled, "The Dissuasion and Interpretation of Pydraul P-9 Toxicity Studiea" ahieh supplements the suamery ahieh appears on page 10 of the eneloeed Pydraul P-9 teehnleal bulletin.
In the oaae of Pydraul A-800, our interpretation of the taxialty data obtained on thia newer synthetic hydraulic fluid la that aeeldantal lngaatlon la not a particular haxard in view of tho high oral lethal doae (Oral U>$Oi 10,500 *g/Xg), ItaUtrly, aIngle aaseive akin exposures should not bo liedittoly hatardoua (Skin KLDi 685 to 1,850 ag/Xg), tho lethal doae following akin penetration la sush, however, that prolonged and repeated akin contact should be avoided, fueh exposure auet also be avoided to prevent akin irritation. We also faal that vapor inhala tion should be avoided when the fluid la at alavatad ttopena tures. gush exposure again relates to prolonged or repeated exposurea rather than aaaaivt or aeute exposure. In the eaae of the latter, worteaen would probably not voluntarily aubjaet themselves to concentrations that are hasardoua for short periods.
In general, I would say that the low degree of haaard ia aharooterlatU of both of tbeoo Materiala.
If Z ean be of any further help, please let me know.
Very truly yours.
