Krucke DATE: August 29, 1975 SUBJECT: Recommended Work Practices .. r.-i It Is imperative that R/M promptly provide clear instructions oa the safe handling of asbestos containing friction materials, reinforced plastics and molding compounds to all customers in all trade classes. The instructions must be issued in a manner most likely to reach the worker handling the product. Commencing on or before October 1, 1975, every box containing auto motive, bus, truck and industrial brake lining sets and clutch facings must contain a card carrying the text shown below. Tags may be used for roll lining. The instructions must "also be ' included with asbestos containing friction materials, reinforced plastics and molding compounds shipped in bulk. In such cases, ' the card on which the instructions are printed*must be of sufficieut- cize to be readily observed by the worker opening the shipping container.
