Ahead of our meeting on Monday at 17:00, I attach below a proposed agenda for the discussion.
Primarily, we'd like to discuss how best Eurometaux and its membership can support your work in developing meaningful raw materials legislation in the months ahead. We can answer any questions on the supply/demand study launched with KU Leuven (see summary again attached) and give a first brief on the industry's top-line policy asks, but also discuss your information needs from our members, and options for bringing business leaders from across the raw materials value chain into practical discussion with the Commissioner on taking their investment plans forwards.
Time allowing, we'd also like to briefly link the raw materials dossier with two parallel processes that will be on your desks in the six months ahead and which have a crucial impact:
Chemicals legislation (Joining-up the REACH review with raw materials investment,
I'll be joined by our two experts in those areas (and attach related background briefings for future easy reference, some of which you've already received)
Wishing you good weekends,
