Box 97 Calvert City, Kentucky 42029 Dear Mr. Barr: Thank you very much for your recent letter regarding the interpretation of the hand x-rays. For 401-34-9331 the term developmental suggests that this is a congenital variation in development and has no relation to acro-osteolysis. With regard to 376-01-3907, a marginal defect was apparent, but it was not characteristic of those which we have seen with acro-osteolysis and therefore was thought to be of questionable significance. I don't think that either of these are related acro-osteolysis. No further studies are indicated at this time. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to let us know. Sincerely yours, WMW:ef Walter M. Whitehouse, M.D. Professor and Chairman Department of Radiology -- AP00002097
