Dr. R. A. Kehoe
Dear Dr. Kehoe:
Mr. F. S. Shepard of Socony Vacuum Oil Company, has called me up twice requesting an appointment with you. He is a little reluctant about stating his exact desires, but I feel sure it has to do with the proportioning equipment at lubrite and the adoption of it in other refineries.
As you know, Socony has "been a little difficult to handle and we.are particularly anxious to get further informa tion from them on spiked tanks. I do not mean that we should make any concessions on other safety matters to get their co operation on the tanks, but it appears -to me that if you would communicate with him directly, he might feel pleased and might also tell you what he has in his mind.
His address is 26 Broadway, Hew York City.
Very truly yours.
