There is not much file material to review at this point in time. was indeed exposed to paint fumes and became nauseous and appropriate treatment was undertaken by Dr. Vernon Hutchison. He seems to have recovered fully from the effects of the exposure, but for some reason his attorney seems to think that there is some possibility of residual and has decided to represent ] In reviewing counsel's letter of June 16, 1993, you will note that he is proposing use of an AME, but the doctors he is suggesting are, in fact, orthopedists. Perhaps Mr. attorney should read his file a bit more thoroughly to be aware of the fact that his client does not have an orthopedic problem. We have indicated to counsel that we see no to.use an AME. It seems as though Mr. las fully recovered from the effects of the exposure. To be certain that there is no indication of any permanent residual, we have undertaken to subpoena the records of N40212 Gallagher Bassett Services, Inc. Following our review of those records, we will advise you further concerning whether or not medical discovery is necessary* We tend to think this is the type of claim we should resolve in relatively prompt fashion.
