Comments
1 In Ontario the current guidelines for occupational exposure to the various
substances sampled is as follows
Contaminant

Crocidolite Asbestos Butanol

2 fibres 0.2 fibres
50 ppm 350 ppm
Occupational exposure to lead is limited to 0.15 mg mas a time weighted average for
a forty hour workweek as per Ontario Regulation 536/81
2. All samples taken are below their respective guidelines

During the air sampling visit the following was observed
- all ceiling fans were on
- ventilation at the mixer was on
- packing of 1 pound containers of plastic lead sealer was done by John LaFitte Sample 1 during the sampling period

During the air sampling visit the following was observed
- ( 5.21 ) wore a 3M 8710 respirator NIOSH approval number 21C
320 pounds of lead powder was used in the mixing of plastic lead sealer
ventilation at the mixer was on
all ceiling fans were on
- the blue felt asbestos is to be phased out by
