You can also rewatch the recording via the link: Ad-Hoc BCR meeting PFAS REACH Restriction-20230503_102609-Enregistrement de la runion.mp4 On top of this we would like to mention that a next CCIM PFAS WG meeting has been planned on the 28th of June 14:00-16:00. This meeting will focus on discussing the submission of a second BE comment into the Public Consultation of the PFAS restriction. Please note that for practical reasons any further communication on this PFAS restriction will be conducted mainly via the CCIM network, so if you want to stay informed and involved please make sure to let me know so I can add you to the mailing list. We would like to highlight that several administrations at the moment are not represented into the CCIM group (more specifically those working on cosmetics, medical devices/medicinal products and plant protection products), we would therefore like to recommend you to consider adding a representative from your administration to ensure that all concerns voiced during this ad-hoc BCR meeting will be taken up when further developing on this restriction. 1 Don't hesitate to contact me for any further questions or requests. Don't hesitate to rewatch the recording of the meeting on Teams or to send it to interested colleagues. As follow-up to the meeting the following: - In the annex you can find the slides we presented during the meeting, in the slides you can find the links to the documentation we have discussed. We also highly recommend you to have a look at the documentation on the ECHA site (https://echa.europa.eu/nl/registry-of-restriction-intentions//dislist/details/Ob0236e18663449b) and specifically to the info note which includes some specific questions (https://echa.europa.eu/documents/10162/cad38c27-ede8-2268-00c6-939ea066743c), these questions highlight the uncertainties for which additional data is needed. o For info on medical uses we recommend you to look at section A.3.10. and A.3.17. of Annex A as well as section E.2.9. of Annex E to see whether data or information is missing from the assessment. - A Q&A document has just been uploaded today on the ECHA site on the restriction proposal. It is highly recommended to look at this document to get an understand of how to contribute to the consultation and how the restriction process works. Lastly we would once again like to invite you to subscribe to the mailing list of the CCIM PFAS working group. By becoming a member of this group we can keep you updated on this restriction proposal and you can be involved in the drafting of Belgian input into the Public Consultation. Within this group we can also further look at what kind of input can be provide to ensure that your concerns are taken fully into account. In case your organization is not yet represented in this group I highly recommend you to contact me ( @health.fgov.be) so I can include you or your colleague in the contact list. Especially for the colleagues from FAGG and FAVV it would still be very valuable to have someone added in this group. Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any other specific questions or input on this topic.
