I havs always f a it th a t jo in t nestings between our groups were not only desirable, but quite necessary. However, you w ill have to agree th a t the issue at stake th is year is not a deslra on anyone's p art to have the physicians go one way and we another, but simply that sons of us feel th at the oonnereial phases of our jo in t nestings have cone to doninate the conferences to a point whare the t a i l is wagging the dog. Xa other words, the cleavage i s not between the hygienists and the physicians, but between the hygienists and the oonnereial interests. At the present tin e out o f a to ta l vote of 15 of the Board o f B ireetors, five favor a jo in t nesting and five favor a separate nesting:.
