Only major discrepancy appeared in extraction line terminalfcrint given as non-return valve. ' Installed wobble plate on "C" turbine which had been damaged in shipment. After using hammer was necessary to remove 1/32 from top flange to make it smooth and true. Drilled holes in pedestal. Drilled three holes through oil tank pedestal for hanging cooler. Fabricated rods and hanger assemblies for coolers on all three units. Exhaust end feed and drain piping replaced securely. Replaced shim pads under generator solepla which had been knocked loose. Drilled holes for hanging oil cooler. Assembled inlet elbows.on "A" unit and throttle valve. Levelii and aligning soleplates. ' Working on oil piping and outboard pedestal baseplate.. Foundation not wide enough. Having trouble getting baseplates in position. When foundation was poured a lot of the sloppy concrete got into sleeves for holding down bolts which were off center. Spent time leveling turbine. Leveling and aligning soleplate for No. 1 exciter. Necessary to reset two chock blocks. Finished setting outboard and exciter baseplate on elevation and center line. Started leveling turbine. Leveling pads are at various elevations having to use 690" on one side against 100" on other. Holding down bolts will have to be heated and bent before I can get on center line. Finished leveling the turbine. Set generator baseplates afte: chipping concrete out of bolt sleeves, then set outboard pedestal and exciter baseplate. Willhave to heat bolts to pu plate on center line. Had to heat foundation bolts and bend them to get plate on 1: Short a lot of 3/4" bolts and nuts for oil piping. Finished setting and lining up extraction regulators. Cleaned up bearings, steamfitters still -.vorking on oil piping lined up coupling. Lower halves of Gen. End Bells are not lining up very well. Tried to mount steel rails bottom of Gen. housing, but there is a difference of l/h" between the holes in the rails and the drilled holes in the housing, bolts, will not...start. Still doing preliminary work to starting up units. Insulating units. Steamfitters still working on all units. Steamfitters still working on all units. Cleaned up bearings. The oil spray pipe to the gov. worm and wheel was riding hard on the worm, readjusted and set so there is a clearance between spray pipe and worm. Steam fitters still working on units.
