Please note these commente must be filed by Tuesday, May 28, 1996. I am unsure whether these comments are filed by the Vinyl Chloride Transportation Committee or the Vinyl Chloride Panel. Your last facsimile uses both terms. Please let me know the proper Committee name to use. Additionally, the members were interested in finding out the cite for a Notice issued by the Coast Guard requesting comments on Waterfront Facilities; Marine Transportation Related Pipeline Testing. This notice appeared in the Federal Register May 10, 1996 at page 21521. Comments are due July 9, 1996. Also, pursuant to the Committee's instructions during our last conference call, I have checked with Frank Principe to find out the status o CMA's comments to the Coast Guard's questions posed in the recent Federal Register Notice on Tank Vessel and Facility Response Plans and Equipment for Hazardous Substances. Frank is working on general CMA comments to this Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking and indicates that he anticipates having a draft for the Committee's review by mid-June. This timing should work out well since it will provide the Committee the opportunity to review the comments in advance of the June 25th meeting and then have an in depth discussion at that meeting.
