Other references to talc free means tremolite free in that it.would be Winaor talc instead of the Nytsl Vanderbilt Material* In any case, the important thing is that when we switched over to an asbestos free formula (with the exception of the Koll-On Texture) -- when we switched over to the asbestos free formula oh SX Joint Cement last August and also on Pre-Mixed Joint Cement, these products were iKoediately formulated vith the tresu>lite free Winsor talc regardless of whether it was the St. Louis or Toms River location. AccorB^ngly, SX Joint Cement from both locations has been asbestos free and with the right type of talc since late August 1976^n Pre-Mix Joint Cement, St. Louis gallons asbestos free since December 1976, 5 gallons since April 1977;/Toms River gallons and 5's of Pre-Mix since April 1, 1977. While St. Louis has a small quantity of Resurfo Paste in stock and made up with the clay, this is not true of Che powder. All we have done at both plant locations ia to stop any further shipments of Jfessurfo Powder or Paste or Metro Spackle as well as any bags of the 100A, 2Q0B, 500C Joint Cement as of April 29, 1977 and until such time as we can get into production and develop a stock of the Reaurfo without talc and the J4nt Cements without asbestos and the proper Winaor talc. Wa have also made this appliceble to the Chicago and California warehouses until we can switch over. .... Julius P.S. Metro Spackle shipments will not ba held up since formula no longer contains either talc or asbestos.
