It would be impossible to interpret this result without knowing the history of the load exposure of this man and especially the last day on which he worked, assum ing his work involved exposure to lead compounds. It is also a little difficult to interpret a result of this magnitude without benefit of a Imovvledge of the lead con centration in the blood. In the case of results on both blood and urine are within range of values, although that of the blood is just a little high for the normal range. On the whole, however, one is justified in the conclusion that this man has had little or no significant lead exposure within recent times. If the above interpretations require some modifica tion in view of the history of employment and/or illness of these men, I shall comment further on receipt of addi tional information.
