On behalf of the scientific committee of the International Conference on Uncertainty in Risk Analysis (co organized by the European Food Safety Authority and the German Federal Institute For Risk Assessment on February 20-22, 2019 in Berlin; see https://www.bfr-akademie.de/media/wysiwyg/SavetheDate Conferertce-onUncertainty.pdf), we invite you as a key speaker on one of your areas of expertise. Specifically, your presentation would set the stage for the session entitled "Communication of Uncertainties". With this session we want to address aspects such as "documentation and visualization of uncertainties; perception of risk and uncertainty; target-oriented communication; education; lessons-learned; dealing with fear and mistrust; communication strategies".
We are confident that your presentation would provide an overview of the topic, key areas of agreement and disagreement, and cutting edge aspects of this topic. We further hope that your presentation will stimulate discussion during your session. As we are asking you to provide one of the opening presentation with these specific goals, we are offering support for your travel and accommodation.
