The unit may be set on any floor capable of sup porting its weight, connected to steam, fuel, water and electric lines, and put into operation within 24 hours of de livery. Fully automatic; burning oil, gas or both in combination. WATER TUBE SUPERIOR STEAM GENERATORS Type D Superior Steam Generators are completely packaged water tube boilers. Refractory, insulation, burner equip ment and controls, forced draft system and boiler trim are all factory installed. The entire unit is completely fire tested at the factory before shipment. Notable features include: tangent tube water wall furnace, quiet rear-mounted forced draft fan, air-cooled furnace roof and firing front, and large steam and hot water drums with manholes on either end. Single or multiple burners according to capacity. These units may be fur nished with fully automatic Superior Rotary Burners, or air or steam atomiz ing burners. SUPERIOR ROTARY BURNERS For fully automatic firing of light or heavy oils, natural or manufactured gases, or on and gas in combination. Operating on the time-tested horizontal, rotary atomizing principle, these burners have a V-belt drive to provide high cup speeds and efficient atomization. The 4-hole hinge circu lates oil through the oil heater so that the hot oil is always on the pressure side of the pump, thereby presenting oil at higher temperatures to the atomizing cup. The adjustable air nozzle provides accurate control of flame contour. Dual pumps and reservoir, combined with constant oil rate control, provide controlled firing regardless of viscosity variations. Sizes to 500 bhp with hi-lo or fully modulating control. 380 Type Designation BoUer-Btcmer Units Titusville offers Scotch Marine boilers as complete packaged units. These are the Titusville-Iron Fireman, TitusvilleRay and Titusville-Petro Boiler-Burner Units, furnished in both high-and low pressure series for firing oil, gas or a combination of oil and gas. The low pressure series ranges in size from 6375 to 63,750 square feet of radiation and the high pressure series from 1995 to 18,784 lb of steam per hour (F & A. 212 F.). All units may be purchased completely firetested, or boilers and burners may be shipped separately for field mounting. Type Designation WTP The Titusville Type WTP Water Tube Steam Generator is completely shopassembled, ready for operation as soon as service connections are made. The Type WTP features forced draft, pres surized furnace operation, and requires' no high stack or induced draft fan. It is adapted for firing with heavy oil, light oil, natural gas, coke oven gas or manu factured gas, and combinations of these fuels. Capacities are from 7,500 to 60,000 lb of steam per hour.
