f "DutcA. CHROMATED RED LEAD M-25 N-25 Chromated Red Leads M-25 and N-25 are coalesced pigments comprising 75% red lead and respectively 25% monobasic (M-25) and 25% normal lead chromate (N-25). They possess properties differing from a mechanical mixture of the con stituents. M-25 and N-25 Chromated Red Leads combine the best properties of red lead and the lead chromates. Metal paint primers formulated with the Chromated Red Leads have given excellent performance on exposure tests. Like other rust inhibitive paint pigments M-25 and N-25 may be formulated in paints, either admixed with other pigments or as the sole pigment. Unlike mechanical mixtures of red lead and lead chromate the Chromated Red Leads have excellent color stability on direct outdoor exposure.
