-We are In receipt of vour correspondence of June 3 referenced "' ` the' dtection of vinyl chloride vapor in the presence of vinyl
acetate.
We are replying to your questions as outlined in each para graph.
1. It is correct that we utilise a Universal testing Kit for detecting vinyl chloride vapor in the air in con centrations ranging from 100 to 1250 ppm.
2. In reply to this question, the answer is in the affirmative in that lower concentrations cf the acetate the whole range 100 - 1250 ppm vinyl chloride will be detected.
3. We regret we do not have available a tube for determining vinyl acetate vapor in the presence of vinyl chloride vapor.
We have not had sufficient inquiries for this type of sam pling device to justify the expense to develop this test
procedure.
We trust the above information is satisfactory and if you should have any additional questions, please cc not hesitate to let us know.
Very truly yours,
