ELIGIBILITY:
Any former Tyler, Texas employee of Union Rubber and Asbestos Company with fire years or more of service vill become automatically eligible for the Plan as of December 31, 1932. As other employees reach fire years of service vith Union/Pittsburgh Corning they trill be me members of the Plan on the following December 31.
BENEFITS:
Annual pension benefits are accrued annually on the following basis:
1# of the first $250.00 of average monthly earnings. 1-# of the excess over $250.00.
The retirement benefit available at the retirement date is the total of the annual benefits accrued to the employee.
RETIREMENT AGE:
The Company has a mandatory retirement age of 65, The retirement vill take place the end of the month following the employees 65th birthday.
EMPLOYEE COST:
The Company pays the full cost of the plan.
OTHER PROVISIONS:
Early Retirement The member may retire at any time subsequ nt to his 55th birthday at a reduced pension benefit actuarially calculated.
Joint Survivorship The member may elect to share his retirement benefit with his wife. The election must take place three years or more prior to actual retirement. The amount of retirement benefit will be actuarially determined.
