An article appeared in "American Industrial Ifygiene Association Journal" in December, 1977, concerning pyrolysis fuel oil causing cancer in rats. The rats were shaved and skin-painted and observed until death. Some of the rats developed skin tumors and skin cancer. If you should get any pyrolysis fuel oil on your skin, wash it off as soon as possible. If you should get some on your clothes, do not wear those clothes until they have been washed clean of pyrolysis fuel oil. J. D.
