Good Afternoon. As promised, we've finalized plans for tomorrow. The agenda is attached. Basic overview is below:
9:30: Secretary's DOI Office. Balash Swearing In & KC road signing ceremony. Speakers will be Sec. Zinke, Joe Balash, Sen. Sullivan, Della Trumble (Closed to Press) 10:00: Finish & Depart DOI 10:30 -11: Press Availability at Sen. Murkowski personal office. Hart 521. Speakers will be the delegation, Coast Guard, Gov. Walker and Sec. Zinke. 11:15: Depart Senate
Because space is limited, plan on only the two staff that had originally rsvp'd for the reception. That should apply for the press availability as well as there will not be much more space in the Senator's office. Obviously your comm's staffer would be welcome at the press availability if they are not one of the ones planning on coming to DOI. Media availability will be handled by our comms shop. Please do not share any details unless you've worked with Heather.
We are working on the parking situation. If we are unable to secure spots, you'll need to have your driver drop the member off and then find parking or circle. Once I have details for that, I will follow up.
I apologize for the haphazard nature of planning this. Thank you in advance for everyone's flexibility. Looking forward to having this done.
