Byrom is sending copies of the original paper and our com m ents (in which I have m ade a few last minute alteratio n s, which you w ill see in m anuscript on the ty p escrip t) to you and me and to the A. I.C , for approval at the m eeting next W ednesday. He w ill a lso send a copy to J .W .R . Ltd. 2. A fter approval and final typing, we should send copies to M r. Algreen P e^grsen (either direct o r through M r. Lodge), asking him w hether he knows w hether the original P edersen Memorandum has been forgotten o r, if not, would he recom m end that our reb u ttal be circulated in D enm ark in the same way as the original. 3. At the sam e tim e M r. Shepherd w ill send copies to Dansk E tern it and to M arinite, asking them the same question. 4. If the consensus of opinion is that the reb u ttal should be circu lated , we feel that f ir s t someone of fairly high seniority should see M r. Homann Pedersen p ersonally about it. N either we n o r T .A . C . know M r. P ed ersen w ell but it is possible that someone in M arinite or in Dansk E tern it might be able to tackle him effectively on the "old boy" b a sis. We would like to persuade him to circulate the rebuttal him self, by som e of th e in fo rm a tio n o rig in a lly given to him. If he w ill n o t do th is w e w ould circulate our m e m o ra n d u m th ro u g h E in a r J u e l, through P e rs o lit and in any o th er w ay open to us in D enm ark. 5. So fa r as I.M .C .O . is concerned, we believe th at the situation is stable but if we do decide to circu late our m em orandum in D enm ark we would send a copy to M r. M u rray Sm ith.
