Via: Airmail
Dear Mr. Schilling:
Enclosed are samples of three vinyl rigid sheet materials under consideration f r use in packaging poultry. These are the materials referred to by Mr, Robertson In his May 11 letter to you, and we understand that you have agreed to run extrac tion tests on them. Subsequent to the time Mr. Roberteon wrote his letter we located the two recommended colorants In our laboratory and were, therefore, able to supply Immediately samples of the current formulation and the two proposed alternatives. These samples, then, represent all of the materials under considera
tion.
The materials and formulations are as fallows:

In this matter ve are concerned with demonstrating that lead, arsenic, the sub strata. and heavy metals are not extracted In significant amounts.
As Mr. Robertson indicated, speed is of great importance in this study. We will very much appreciate a reply as soon as possible.
