Roger J Zipfel/AE/DuPont@DuPont, Jan M Stouffer/AE/DuPont@DuPont High C-8 result 1 just found out that we had some high C-8 results, in FEP at the slab rack area and in Fine Powder C-8 recovery building. These samples were all taken on 6/8/99. but the results just came back. The locations are in areas where there is not a lot of activity, and since these were area samples, incident reports will not be necessary. However, investigations are needed to see if the cause can be determined in both areas. The last time this happened in the PEP slab area, the H&V's had been turned off. FEP slab area result was 0.62 C-8 recovery roof area was 0.54, below the AEL, but very close. Inside the C-8 recovery building was 1.15 The AEL for C-8 Is 0.56.
