MINUTES OF A SPEC IAX MEETING OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF RIVER SMELTING & REFINING COMPANY A Special Meeting of the Board of Directors of the River Smelting & Refining Company was held in the offices of the Company in the International Life Building, 722 Chestnut Street, St. Louis, Mo*, on December 10, 1926. There were present at the meeting Messrs. E. J. Cornish, Geo. 0. Carpenter and J. A. Caselton; absent Messrs. Edwin S. Webster and Leonard B. Buchanan. Mr. Cornish aoted as Chairman of the meeting and Mr. Caselton acted as Secretary. The resignation of James E. Manter, as clerk of this Company, dated March 18, 1926, to take effeot at the next meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company was presented and read. Upon motion by Mr. Carpenter, duly seconded, it was i RESOLVED, that the resignation of Mr. James E. Manter as clerk of this Company be and the same hereby is accepted, effective as of this date, and it was further RESOLVED, that Miss A. B. Farnham be and she hereby is appointed and elected clerk of this Company, effective as of this date in lieu of James E. Manter, resigned, to serve during the pleasure of the Board of Directors, or, until the next election by the stockholders of the Company.
