Hi guys. This is the form I filled out for the September 12 meeting. Although the sept 14 salon dinner has been postponed and as we've discussed before Mr. Knell hopes to maintain this appointment as a way to meet Administrator Pruitt and develop a relationship. Mr. Knell has a strong desire to be supportive to the Administrator on behalf of National Geographic. The salon dinner was postponed to Q1 of 2018 so that the Board of Directors for National Geographic can attend the event. Administrator Pruitt knows the Bechtel family from visits to their San Francisco office while he was AG. Brendan's grandfather Stephen Bechtel jr. was chief executive over he Hoover Dam project while also President of Bechtel. Amazing 119 year old family business . Also Jean Case is chairman. She is a former exec at AOL and her husband Steve Case was a co-founder of AOL. Very good board.

I would like to formally invite you to join us as our honored guest for the National Geographic Public Policy Salon Dinner on Domestic W ater Security on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 6 PM in National Geographic Society's Historic Hubbard Hall. The private and closed-press dinner will gather a small and select group of National Geographic board members and supporters, key influencers, and subject matter experts for a conversation aboutwater security issues in the U.S.
This dinner will be the second in a series of salon dinners that National Geographic is convening to drive informal conversation about important topics affecting the U.S. today.
We recently began this salon dinner series with Secretary Ryan Zinke. During National G eographic's dinner with Secretary Zifoe, we enjoyed a conversation about our nation's beautiful parks and public lands and uncovered an important area of shared interest with the Secretary: a desire to strengthen our parks' infrastructure. We look forward to working together with Secretary Zinke to move this important initiative forward.
