Dear Sir:
Our doctor here in Charlotte has advised us that you have the engineering facilities to help in determining proper steps to be taken to correct lead exposure hazzards here in our plant. As you know, you are currently running a series of blood and urine samples for us. Naturally we are deeply concerned over the results of the tests you have completed to date. Previous tests of air in the plant by the North Carolina Department of Labor showed that we were not exceeding the limits set by the State. We have every intention of correcting the conditions which might contribute to the condition of our employee's health. Of course the problem arises as to the costs involved inasmuch as our Company is small. Your assistance in helping us to solve our problem will be appreciated.
Sincerely,
WILLARD SMELTING CORPORATION
