We intent to accept, at a first stage, meeting requests from the associations representing the companies for brief meetings discussing important issues on the opinion on PFHxA. After the first preliminary discussions and with the condition that Commission considers there is a need for further clarifications/justifications, we will proceed with accepting individually webmeetings with companies to discuss any of the unique specificities. For similar matters on thresholds on fluoropolymers, the FPG has already requested the Commission with a web meeting . For the time being , we welcome to receive in writing any additional information you may want to send . You may also be aware that all information should have already been sent to ECHA in order to be thoroughly scientifically assessed. Your client Daikin will be also informed by the relative association on these future initial with the associations web meetings. Daikin would like to request a meeting in February to discuss the proposal for a restriction of PFHxA, its salts and related substances under the REACH Regulation. Daikin produces fluoroelastomers (FKMs) with a PFHxA salt in its facility in Pierre-Bnite, near Lyon in France (Daikin Chemical France). In light of the SEAC draft opinion, which was adopted at the last SEAC meeting, Daikin wishes to provide additional information with respect to the thresholds on fluoropolymers, especially fluoroelastomers. We would be happy to propose several dates and time slots in February, preferably in the morning. So long as the COVID-19 situation persists, we propose to hold the meeting in a web-based format or as a conference call.
