Join us for a tour of Amelia Island. 10 am - Noon Ecology of Amelia Nature Tour Limited to 10 registrants This hand-crafted ecology tour is a Naturalist Guided Tour featuring approximately 4 miles of walking or riding. During the walk/ride, you will dive into the three different ecosystems found on the island. You will get to immerse yourself in the maritime forest along the coast, learning about what creatures' dwell here and why it looks the way it does. Adventuring to the beach, you will get to see the incredible creations called dunes and learn why they are so important to the vitality of the island and its inhabitants. Walking/Riding from one side of the island to the other, you will emerge into the marsh ecosystem and learn about its complexity and how it functions as a safety net for the island. Be sure to bring your comfiest walking shoes and adventure into the beautiful nature that creates Amelia Island.
