Fenner to discuss vulnerability of M plants and mines to student demonstrations re air and water pollution and also to discuss possible handouts explaining M's position re pollution control and rough draft a Statement of Policy on M and pollution control c Subsequently a meeting to be arranged with A. B. Marchant W. L. VanDerbeek and E. M. Fenner to view subject material for still and motion pictures and take rough shots for use in making assignments to Still & Motion Picture Section c Swetonic to arrange for periodic meetings with Fenner to discuss that might any projects planned underwoary serve as subject material for the completed library a Swetonic to visit Jeffrey Mine and Mill to select audio- visual subject material 9 Copy has been completed for IIHRP Progress Report # ACTION a Raines to contact Dr. Pundsack to make sure that he has seen and approved the quote attributed to him in the Report b Solon to ask Dr. Selikoff to place him on the approval list for Report copy 10 Raines gave a brief had with members of report on a recent meeting he and Thompson the health committee of the Asbestos Textile Institute The Institute is considering preparing a background paper on the research which it has sponsored and the industrial hygiene steps it has taken vis a vis asbestos hazards in the textile mills 11 A list of coming medical discussed meetings was distributed and 12 The subject of a possible advertising campaign on the benefits of asbestos was briefly discussed A meeting to discuss the subject in greater depth was scheduled for February 4 # #
