We have also made preliminary drawings and reviewed them with Mr. Bill Hammer regarding equipment location, selection and overall design. It is our opinion that this system iroiBt be a separate and complete unit. < Wo propose to furnish and install the necessary hooding, ductwork and collecting equipment to eliminate the dusting problem and also prevent the loss of any product. The existing vibratory conveyor and crocs feed belt conveyor would bo removed. Two sots of three hoppers each would receive-the material dropping doxm thiu the conveyor and thru the floor below tho fill spouts. This material then would be picked up by the ductwork at tho floor level. These three ducts would also have floor sweeps facing the center of tho building with adjustable covor3. A protective grille would prevent any foroign objects from entering the syctem. Complete hooding of the upper area would include tiiroe (3) doors to give access to the power curve conveyor for spring repair. Additional pickup hoods would be installed at the three fill spouts and above tho fill spouts in front of tho operator* These lines would all join and lead to a 32" diameter high efficiency cyclone mounted on a platform ll'-O" off the floor and behind tho bag packer Jit the outside wall. This unit would be a Duotcx ^23-1003 Model 32. From the cyclone, the dust collector ic to be filtered thru a Flex-Xloen Collector with 11 os. Dacron. Bags mounted adjacent to the cyclone on tho cono platform. A Hew York Blower ,-''192 iw.nd.iing 3000 Cfm, with 1$ HP motor and drive, r.onr.ted on the platform would exhaust out the side of the building.
