Hr. V. T. Cameron, Chief Safety Adviser, 0. S. Department of Labor* Washington, D. 0,
Ky dear Ur. Caoeront
lour letter of tbs 19th, addressed to Sr. Van Stone, was referred to the writer for attention.
Sr. McCord's work for us was based on the desire of our President, Mr. G. A. Martin* to get an outsider's viewpoint on our general safety program.
All of our processes, whether new or old* are safe guarded as to health end accident hasard to the beat of our knowledge} but Ur. Martin wanted the added satisfaction of having a oo&petent outside authority confirm our findings.
I regret that It. McCord's reports* which ere type written And bound* are not in shape for distribution* Each one Is very voluminous and covers natter* of process, fomulation* and general production detail that really should not he made public.
If you have occasion to visit Cleveland at any time, I shall be very pleased to discuss matters of paint industry hazards, lie are vitally interested In the protection of our own im, and quite willing to help others to do tbs same.
Very truly yours*
