The arrest was a result.of a cooperative effort by an outside contractor hired by the plant, Monsanto Corporate Security and county police. The individual allegedly asked for a $75,000 cash payment for awarding an asbestos removal contract. County police videotaped the passing of the cash at the Stouffer Concourse Hotel, and then made the arrest.
