Pathologist/Project Manager, Experimental Pathology Laboratories, Inc. Dr. Busey is responsible for the gross and microscopic evaluation of tissues from experimental animals used on a variety of toxicologic studies. Dr. Busey is Project Manager of a program to provide pathology support services to the Carcinogenesis Program of the National Cancer Institute. He is Project Manager of a program to provide complete pathology services to the Pharmacology Branch, Aerotoxicology Section of the National Institutes of Environmental Health Sciences. 1968 - 1971. Pulmonary Pathologist/Project Manager, Inhalation Toxicology Department, Hazleton Laboratories, Inc. Dr. Busey was Project Manager of two long-term inhalation toxicology studies designed to determine the effects from the continuous exposure of monkeys, rats and guinea pigs to several common air pollutants singularly and in combi nation. He was responsible for the gross and histopathologic evaluation of tissues from experimental animals used in the safety evaluation of pharmaceuticals, industrial chemicals and cosmetics. Dr. Busey conducted independent research in experimental pneumoconiosis. 1965 - 1968. Supervising Pathologist, Hazleton Laboratories, Inc. Dr. Busey was responsible for the supervision of the clinical chemistry, hematology and histology laboratories at Hazleton Laboratories. He reviewed and evaluated gross and microscopic changes in animals used in various types of toxicology, carcinogenesis and environmental health studies.
