I will ask those copied for connects, corrections and additions where called for. 1. Acne has shipped asbestos free Triple-Duty to Denver for trial. The material has been used with apparent satisfactory results. This was an unsupervised trial. Additional notarial Is en route to Denver which will be followed by Mr. Winter. 2. Asbestos free Topping manufactured at Akron has been used successfully In Detroit. Additional material Is available at Akron for shipment to Detroit when an order Is received. Dale McCubbln's help will be needed In setting this up. 1 will appreciate Dale and Alex Petrallne working together on this. 3. On 8-28, 8-29, 30 bags of Akron asbestos free material will be field tested In Rochester. Mr. Petrallne will furnish a report on this. 4. Asbestos free gypsum based vinyl bagged goods are being used successfully In Texas. 5. We need additional help In setting up and conducting field trials. I would like to ask Alex Petrallne's assistance In this starting In Pittsburgh with additional trials as soon as possible. As I understand the problem, we are required to keep the air-borne concentration of a certain length asbestos fiber below a certain measurable level. As time goes by the requirements become tighter. The engineering department abatement schedule for reducing the dust concentration at Akron has been accepted by the state of Hew York. SGP 0021943 Mr. C. W.
