It is our feeling that the report on the condi tions in your plant is an excellent example of what may be accomplished by the application of scientific methods of dust control. The data should be of interest, not only to your industry, but also to other industries with similar dust problems. For this reason, it is our desire to publish the paper in the offi cial organ of the Public Health Service (Public Heelth Reports). I should be very pleased to receive your comments on the contents of this paper. Tou will note that there is no way of identifying the plant nor the locality in which the plant is situated. However, it has occurred to us that it would be no more than fair, if it were agreeable to you, to acknowledge our thanks both to you and others in your organisation, as well as to the South Carolina State Department of Health, for the splendid cooperation without which this study would not have been possible.
