I've been tardy in replying for the reason that a number of natters came to ray desk during ray vacation and have kept me busy since. I think you are right about the desirability of a "face-to-face discussion" with Dr. Schroeder (and perhaps others) about some of the basic differences in our viewpoints. I believe, however, that it would be a better performance on my ^art to write to him directly, rather than to depend upon your intervention. I mean, by this, no disrespect for you or your suggestion.
