I am especially interested in the proportion of, retained lead that is excreted' daily when the. intake,,has bebn small amounts over a period of time. We are attempting to develop a method for measuring the radiolead content of urine and feces to be used as an index of radon exposure. The radon inhaled will soon become radiolead by radioactive decay. This radiolead will then behave exactly as stable lead does in the body. Preliminary tests indicate that the extremely small amounts of radiolead that are measur able will give us a very sensitive test. For this test to be very useful vre must know what a given excretion of lead means in terms of body content. Do you, perhaps, have some unpublished data pertinent to this point? Yours very truly.
