Thanks! -Tate DE-REGULATORY AGENDA- In year one, EPA appears to have finalized 22 deregulatory actions, saving Americans more than $1 B in regulatory costs. The report also says that EPA has initiated work on over 44 deregulatory actions. Can you highlight some of your big-ticket accomplishments in this space? CLEARING BACKLOGSa. AIR- With regards to Air, you have acted on 322 State Implementation Plans. Tell me about the situation you inherited before acting on those plans? b. CHEMICALS- As of January 2017, there were 600 new chemicals stuck in EPA's backlog. Obviously this type of thing stifles innovation and job creation nationwide. Has that backlog been addressed and how are you ensuring chemicals receive timely safety determinations? c. SUPERFUND- Unfortunately, the actual story of the work you ARE doing often goes untold by the media. Tell me about the progress you have made on cleaning up contaminated sites in your first year? COOPERATIVE FEDERALISM- In your first year, you consulted with 95 bipartisan Members of Congress, 34 Governors and visited over half the states and U.S. territories.
