Per your request, the subject dust sample was submitted to Clayton
- Environmental Consultants for an analysis of abstos content by x-ray
. '
.diffraction. The results, aB outlined on the attached report, indicate
the presence of l1*-to 15 percent chrysotile asbestos.
. ' .
Based on these results, it appears that a potential exists for employe . exposure to asbestos fibers. We recommend that an evaluation of
exposure to airborne asbestos fibers be conducted on employes handling ` % these clutch discs as soon as possible. Our office should be contacted
several weeks in advance in order to arrange for proper sampling.
