My de h t Warren:- I recently sent you memorandum of formula fOr making Interior Enamel whioh was given me by Hr. F.W. Hers. He called me up recently and said he thought he had given me an idea that this fomula was used for the manufacture of Satinette. The formula in question la for making cheap enamel. He says the Standard Varnish Works are now making Satinette in exactly the same manner, exoept that instead of using a refined oil whioh has "been heated up to oOO degrees, they grind the zinc in the varnish as per sample sent you. It is alao thinned with this same varnish, consequently, you can make interior Satinette by following formula already given and simply substitute national Tarnish JorkB Enamel Tarnish for the special linseed oil. I asked Mr, Harz if he oould let us have formula for manufacturing Exterior Satinette.
