Grant reviewed the proceedings of the Health A Safety Com mittee Heating of Decamber 11, 1960, a copy of which la attached hereto, and included the following: 1. Bequest received from L, Gralley to study tha fibrous glass textile manufacturing plants; 2. Cattaring study relative to tasting fibrous glass duct liner and duct systasu; 3. Besearch Proposal, from the University of California. Xt was reported that the HAS Coenlttee, by a 3-1 vote, recoonenda to accept the latest proposal which Includes the insulation studies plus tha duct studios and recaonsnds the duet study be the first priority (Part IX). Dr, Grant advised that PPG Industries would not support Parc XX, as they believed It was .a un warranted expenditure of funds, and also believe Part X is nore important. A. Dr. L. B. Grant tendered his resignation as Chairman of tha Health A Safety Coaxittee, and recommended Dr. Jon IConsen as Chairman.
